Red Poppy In honor of Remembrance Day I present a Red Poppy. I love this poppy. It’s huge! The red petals with the colorful pom pom like inner parts are a lovely contrast.
Peek at my garden A glimpse of my garden. I took this photo in July 2003. The perennial plants are all so much larger now. There’s a little bit of everything here from small rose plants to Jakmanii clematis, Malva (mallow), delphinium, cosmos and oh a lot of other plants!
Pink Cosmo The cosmo is an annual flower that blooms through the summer season. The cosmo is such a simple flower but it’s pretty! I grow them in my backyard and in the front boulevard. Lovely.
Cleome Spectacular Cleomes are lovely plants that grow four to six feet tall in the garden. Don’t touch the leaves though as they smell like skunk! I think I like these fuchsia colored Cleomes the best.
