This is a picture of a Hardy Hibiscus flower. The plant comes up each spring and flowers in August, then as it gets cooler the plant dies down only to reserect itself again the following spring. I love it’s large pale blooms!
Passion Flower
Passiflora x belotii – I really got into Passion Flowers and Tropical vines recently. I now have four different species of passion flower. Unfortunately I live in a cool area so I have to bring my tropical vines indoors in the winter which presents a whole new set of growing conditions for the plants!

Bee on Balloon Flower
I managed to capture this bumblebee while it was busy visiting one of my lovely Balloon flowers. We have a lot of Bumblebees in our garden, probably because we have such a large amount of flowering plants and we don’t use any chemicals in the garden.
The Floating Bus
The Hippos – the bus that’s not just a bus. It floats! Seen in Downtown Toronto, Yonge and Dundas. I’ve never been on this bus, but I’d like to try it some time. I wonder what water areas it visits.
