These are Gayfeather (Liatris) buds. Each bulb develops a spike in June and by Mid to Late July each year the tiny flowers on each spike begin to bloom. They have a soft feather look from a distance and look lovely in large round clumps.
Vibrant Tiger Lilies
My Tiger Lilies are blooming! Well ok, they’re almost done blooming, but the last two or three weeks they’ve been blooming their lovely heads off. I can’t believe how vibrant their colors are – such bright oranges. They really pop in the garden!
Tiffany Rose
Hmmm wouldn’t “Tiffany Rose” make a lovely name for a baby girl? In this case it’s not a baby name, but rather the name of a lovely Hybrid Tea Rose.
My Tiffany Rose is doing fantastic this year. It’s giving me more blooms than ever before and look how lovely they are! I’m stoked!
