Prince Napoleon Antique climbing rose – beautiful scent, tons of blooms, very hardy. This rose was blooming it’s pretty little head off and it’s so tall I just had to try a shot like this one. I love how the roses and rose branches reach out to the sky in this picture.
This is a lovely Peony when it blooms in early June. I only wish that lovely peonies such as this one would bloom for longer periods each season. Oh well … it’s short bloom time makes me enjoy it all the more! Oh and this Peony has a light scent as well.
I love this rose. It’s an antique rose – it begins with all of it’s petals whorled together tightly like a traditional antique rose, and then as the bloom ages it opens up and looks more like a classic Hybrid tea rose … oh but the scent … it’s lovely! It’s a true rose scent, that wafts in the air. Just heavenly.
Lovely Oriental Lilies with a gorgeous scent.
I grow a number of different types of lilies in my garden – tiger lilies, day lilies, hybrid lilies … but these are my only Oriental lilies. I love them!
