New Hosta – leaves … so green. It had just rained when I took this photo and I managed to capture some of the water droplets on the leaves. i don’t know what it is about wet flowers and leaves but I like them.

In the rain
Rain drops on new Hosta leaves – gorgeous isn’t it?  Like I’ve said before there’s something about water droplets on leaves that really speaks to me.  I’m very happy with the way this photograph turned out.
Crocosmia Seed Pods
These are the seed pods of the crocosmia plant. I don’t know why I find seeds and seed pods so interesting, but you have to admit that these seeds and seed pods contrast with the green foliage around them nicely.

Passion Flower
Passiflora x belotii – I really got into Passion Flowers and Tropical vines recently. I now have four different species of passion flower. Unfortunately I live in a cool area so I have to bring my tropical vines indoors in the winter which presents a whole new set of growing conditions for the plants!
