These are pretty little flowers that bloom in late spring and or early summer depending upon temperatures and other conditions. I used to call wild Aquilegia honeysuckle when I was a kid … but they aren’t honeysuckle … nope, they’re columbine.

Lightly scented pale pink peony. Blooms are very large and they slowly turn pure white as the blooms age. The dark green foliage is also quite nice throughout the non-blooming summer season.
This peony has a lovely scent. I occasionally bring a bloom or two indoors and the scent fills the whole house!
