Fountain with a live face
I can’t remember the name of this huge fountain. It was in downtown Chicago.
It was a hot August day when I saw this in Chicago last summer and I wanted to run through the fountain too.
Facing the Sun
A lovely rudbeckia – a great choice for the first day of summer. Nothing says summer like a brown eyed daisy! So pretty, so simple.
Fresh Chives
Chives – great herb for cooking and salads, and ornamental for it’s flowering beauty I find ti’s best to eat them before they begin to flower or a while after, during the flowering period the chives aren’t so great to eat.
