I’ve got to wonder if all the spring flower photos that I’ve been posting in the last week and a half finally brought on the winter weather? We had an ice/snow storm Sunday night and through to Monday. Now it’s -10 Celsius (14 F) but with the windchill it feels like -16 c (3.2 F).
This lovely flower is a perennial geranium. It’s called Johnson’s Blue and it’s lovely. It’s petals are so thin and brightly colored that they look iridescent when the sun shines on them. Lovely.
This tulipis one of my favorite tulips. I gues overall my favorite tulips are the fringed tulips, but this one with it’s bright orange petals is at the top of my list. It’s so pretty! I just wish tulips lasted longer!
