Wild Lilies in a road side ditch off the side of the Highway. I don’t know how the got there as we were in the middle of nowhere, but they were a pretty sight to see.

As you get closer to Ottawa, driving through the valley you start to see more and more rock cuts along the road. Many of the rocks are calcite – lovely red, rugged.
I love this shot. It looks like it should be somewhere up North, in the country … but it’s right in the middle of Toronto! Or well on the Lakeshore in Toronto. Lovely isn’t it?
A close up of an Annual Salvia plants. Look at the petals and how they have fine tiny hairs along the edge. Sometimes you don’t see the true beauty of a plant until you get up close.
