I can’t remember the formal name of this passion flower. I bought it this past summer. I love the color of it. Most of my other passion flowers are white and blue or purple in color.
Isn’t it lovely?

These are small spring Iris blooms.
I took this photo a couple of years ago and now these flowers no longer grow in my garden. They must have died out. I must replace them this spring or next fall as they are so very lovely.
I love spring flowers, especially the first few of the year as they are the promise of the season to come.
Bee Balm is lovely in the garden and it attracts butterflies and I believe Hummingbirds. Unfortunately every good flowering plant eventually dies down in my Zone 5b Toronto garden.
This is the seed head of the perennial Bee Balm. The plant renews itself each year, but it’s seed head helps ensure that the plant is reseeded and new plants grow around the older plants each year creating an ever growing clump that must occasionally be divided or made smaller so as not to crowd out surrounding plants.
