Driving on the highway between Toronto and Hamilton, Ontario Don’t you love the fall colors. Those red shrubs are Sumac. There’s quite a few of them along the highways in Southern Ontario.
Downtown Brantford
We were in Brantford, Ontario, my husbands home town, recently and I took this picture while we were in downtown Brantford. I just liked how you could see for quite a distance down the main street and the lighting at that time of day.
Watchful Blue Jay
I took this photo of a Blue Jay in my in-laws backyard. To date it’s the only Blue Jay picture I’ve managed to take! The one thing that I like about visiting the in-laws is that they tend to have lots of birds in their backyard – Blue Jays, Cardinals, Mourning doves and many others.
Aging Barn
I took this photo of this aging barn a year or two ago. It’s located somewhere between Ottawa and Toronto on Highway 7 I believe.
I love the meadow in front of the barn and the single Canadian flag attached to it’s outer wall.
