Sorry that I haven’t posted a new photo for a while. I’ve been busy with my other sites and it’s easy to keep setting this one aside when I’m busy with the others. There’s no reason for that though – I have lots of photos and I can set them up to post automatically. If you’ve been following this site please keep visiting. I promise that I’ll be posting new photos regularly again as of now!
Gladiolas are one of the flowers that make me think ah summer has finally arrived. I don’t know why they make me feel that way, but they do. Isn’t this peach Gladiola lovely?

Monkshood, growing in my garden, Toronto, summer 2006
Monkshood is a lovely flower that blooms in the fall. It’s flowers kind of look like a shoe or a ladies slipper or I suppose like a monkshood. Hence the name. These plants are highly toxic so keep your pets and young children away from them if you grow this plant.
