It&#8217;s been claimed in the past to be the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Yonge_Street#Yonge_Street_as_the_.22Longest_Street_in_the_World.22\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow external noopener noreferrer\" class=\"ext-link\">longest street in the world<\/a> as it begins near Lake Ontario in Toronto, Ontario and ends in the province of Manitoba &#8211; more than 1178 miles or 1896 Km later.<\/p>\n<!--CusAds--><p>On this July day I took advantage of the street being shut down and stood in the middle of the normally busy street to take my shot.
