Normally this peony is quite a deep red, but as the bloom ages it takes on a deep rose hue and the petals spread out and open the flower up.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s quite lovely and it&#8217;s quite large! This peony is approximately five to six inches in diameter. Now imagine a clump of them with 30 to 50 blooms!
