A high pitched hum that just drives me nuts.  I&#8217;m sure it&#8217;s coming from the fan that&#8217;s on the light light bulb mount. I haven&#8217;t found much information about others complaining of this problem but I hate it.  So it&#8217;s time to get a new TV.  <\/p><!--CusAds-->\n<p>Oh don&#8217;t worry. The DLP was very very expensive.  We won&#8217;t be throwing it away. We&#8217;ll use it in the basement rec room, but it will no longer be the main TV for our household. Actually if we don&#8217;t use it as often we won&#8217;t have to replace that darn expensive light bulb as often.  <\/p>\n<p>The bulb costs over $400! We&#8217;ve replaced it twice. If we didn&#8217;t want an HDTV I suppose we could have bought another set just with what we&#8217;ve paid for those two light bulbs. Crazy huh. <\/p>\n<p>So I&#8217;ve been looking at TV review sites.   I found a nice one that has lcd tv reviews.
