Have you listed your sites with Truth Laid Bare yet?
Truth laid bare is said to be one of the top sites to be sure to list your blog in.
The Truth Laid Bare ecosystem keeps track of how many other sites link to you and ranks you accordingly. The more links you have the higher up in the ecosystem you climb. One of my sites – Tricia’s Musings – is in the top ten over at Truth Laid Bare and as a result of climb so high in the ranks that site gets a lot of extra traffic just from Truth Laid Bare each day.

One thing I’ve been noticing lately is that the various backlink checkers report a decrease in my backlinks. I’m not sure how accurate these sites are, but the decrease might indicate that old links have been removed or deactivated by whoever linked to me in the first place.
In other words, it’s important to keep adding your site to as many directories and so forth as possible to make sure you’ve got a steady stream of fresh links coming back to you!
