Graduation Day

In early February our Labrador Retriever puppy graduated from puppy training at Petsmart.

The last class was full of fun tests for the puppy owners and puppies alike and at the end we were given graduation caps and graduation certificates for our puppies.

Midnights grad cap was a little too big for her and she was always more than a little hyperactive at puppy training class so we had a hard time keeping the cap on her head long enough to take a good photo. The photo above makes her look like she’s fed up with having the hat on and has just given up – “take my picture already would ya”.

Have you put a puppy through puppy training? Did you get a graduation cap for your puppy to wear too?

Sweetness

There’s nothing sweeter than the look of love that a puppy gives you. Loving licks, sitting on your foot or leaning on your leg … all of those things tell you that you are the most important thing in your puppies life.

This photo was taken this past Monday after we came back from the groomer. It was her first visit to the groomer and she did well. She’s wearing a Petsmart red bandanna that was given to her after her successful grooming session.

This has been a Photohunter Saturday post with the theme being Important.

BTW When I looked at this photo published in this post I realized that her head, in real life, is smaller than this photo! She’s still tiny.

Playful puppy

Our puppy just loves her chew toys.

Puppies, I’ve found, aren’t all that easy to photograph because they are so very curious about everything. So of course as soon as you get close to a puppy with a camera they stop whatever cute thing they were doing that made you get the camera in the first place, they stop what they are doing and try to check out the camera.

Hopefully if I keep attempting to take photos regularly she’ll get used to it and ignore the camera … then I’ll capture some great photos!

I just love the way her ears flop to the side when she’s playing. She’s so cute, my little fur baby.

If you’d like to read more about my playful puppy check out the post I just wrote on my main blog – She’s not Chewsy at all, and if you want to find out what the first item she’s managed to damage was read the story Collateral damage on My World. She’s a handful, but luckily she’s a cutie too.

Meet Midnight

This is Midnight. She’s kept me busy the last few days.

We just got her on Friday or I should say we finally picked her out and brought her home very early Saturday morning and it’s been a whirlwind few days devoted to puppy and getting puppy supplies.
