I took this photo of one of my beautiful pink tulips last year. The flower was just about blown and the petals were almost spread out flat.
Usually by this time of year here in Toronto the snow’s melted and some of the first flowers of spring have started to make an appearance. That’s not the case this year though. We still have a fair amount of snow. Oh it’s melting, but it will take a while before our spring flowers begin to make an appearance.
This is Morden Sunrise. It’s a hardy little Canadian rose. Isn’t it lovely?
I’m still longing for Spring and I can’t wait for all of my spring flowers to bloom and then for my roses to begin their blooming season.
