Technorati has a new look

by Tricia

Have you been to Technorati lately? It seems that they’ve totally changed their look in the last day or two. I went there to check on how my various sites were ranking, and here’s a look at what the page for my main site Tricia’s Musings at feverishthoughts.com looks like when you look up the domain in the directory:

I like the new look, but it seems like they cut out some of the info that was previously available, while trying to consolidate the majority of information about a site onto one page.

When I clicked on my user name – dragonden – I was taken to a page that looked similar to the one above, except all my blogs were listed in the right hand column, and each blog now has a bubble beside it that shows how many people have marked each of my sites as a favorite.

Speaking of favoriting sites. I sure would love it a few more people would favorite this site … but I’d love it even more if you’d mark Tricia’s Musings down as a favorite. I’d love to get that site into the top 100 technorati favs list but I need several more favs to get there.

There’s a new internet i-trader forum

by Tricia

If you are an internet trader or internet marketer you might be interested in know that there’s a new kid in town. That’s right. New Internet iTrader Forum Opens. I’ve just visited the forum, and while it practically squeaks because it’s so new I can see a lot of potential there.

Many of the forums that were specifically created for internet traders have become bloated and overrun. This new forum was created with the sites members in mind. It’s goal is to become the best place to sell or trade services, domains, websites and products.

I really like one of the goals of this new forum – “Give new and experienced webmasters the same degree of respect”. All too often some of the big establish forums seem to cater only to webmasters who have been around for a long time. People new on the seen aren’t always treated the same way or with respect.

Check it out. Members of the site are already discussing domains they have for sale, and link trading offers as well as new link directories.
