The following news story states that there’s been a noted increase in cyberbullying for those that spend a lot of time online.
One in three teenagers have reported that they are victims of cyberbullying. This isn’t unexpected. There’s always been bullying in school and cyberbullying has been going on for a while now, but it appears to be increasing. I suppose it’s another way to continue carrying out attacks on kids that would unfortunately normally end up getting picked on in school.
The terrible thing about this is that the teenager has no refuge from the bullying. It goes on at school and it goes on at home if they are on the computer.

This is so sad! How do I protect my kids? You would think cyber-space would be a safe place from bullies.

The illusion of anonymity makes the jerks and idiots come out in droves. I think that’s why this media seems to attract so many pedophiles and wankers. It’s easy to be mean to people that when you’re not face to face. Sort like how many people yell and scream at other drivers when they wouldn’t think of acting that way if they were in a line at a grocery store.
