Wordless Wednesday
Linux for dummies … well this ladies no dumb, although she might be a little old to learn all about linux.
Good for her!
BTW I haven’t written here for a while – obviously the upgrade went just fine. I’ve just been busy, but I’ve found plenty of great stuff to write about. I just need to find the time!
Maybe she is a Peanuts fan, and she thinks it’s about Linus.
she’s nearly 3/4 through it!
You know… I tried learning linux from a manual, but I found out you’ll never gonna get there if you don’t experiment directly on the PC.
I wonder if granny has even a PC to experiment with.
I have never really like the “For Dummies” series, but if it works for you then I am all for it. It would be cool if she was really trying to learn it!
omg. that picture is hilarious. Would do great on Digg. :o)
Hehe nice picture. If she read it from the beginning, she is almost done with it
They should call it “Linux for Grannies”
I think that we can learn any thing we want no matter what the age is , only thing needed for that is little will power to learn some thing new.
I like the picture! You’re never too old to learn! : ]
Maybe she’s just trying to fall asleep. Although, she actually looks like she’s interested in the book.
I hear ya! Finding time to write isn’t easy. Finding time to learn isn’t either. I’m in the dummy catagory and need that book! AHHH!
Thats a awesome pic, i dig it.
Uhoh, more competition coming this way
What a great way to spend your retirement, be a dummy trying to learn Linux. You CAN teach an old dog new tricks.
My Dad is 84 and he got his first computer last year. He signed up for the internet and loves sending and recieving emails. He learnt how to use windows by himself and is taking a course in Italian online. You’re nver too old !!
Hahaa! My grandmother has NEVER used a computer..
Solid, my parents are tech savy but a book for dummies never hurts
)) funny
It really does just go to show, LINUX is a thing of the past!
I think she is just pretending to read
Funny photo, it’s never too late to learn.
