You can have your own affordable online success

by Tricia

Many online business ideas require some level of financial investment to get them started. When you are short on cash you must do the legwork and the promotion for yourself – in the beginning anyway! At least you know it will be done right.

There are however several affordable online success methods and techniques that can be started on a shoe string budget. Imagine that you have a budget of $100 (£50) to start your first online business. How would you use your grand budget of $100?

I’ve been running my own websites since 1995 and blogs since 2006 and I’ve barely put any money into them other than the cost of domains and hosting.  You really don’t have to spend much money to have online success if you are willing to work hard at promoting your sites and networking with other bloggers/ site owners.

So how can you have online affordable success?

You first need to research a theme or niche that your website will focus on. You can use a number of tools online and many of them have free versions. Wordtracker is the best trial software to use to complete your keyword research. So do your research to find a niche that has people looking for answers. Try to find keywords for your niche (usually three word (long tail keywords) are best) that have less than 50,000 competing pages. You will have more success if there’s less competition out there on your chosen keywords.

You’ll also need to find a good and relevant item to sell from your webpage, whether it’s an affiliate product that complements your site or a product that you’ve created on your own. Actually, the cheapest thing to do is make up your own product and the easiest product to create is an e-book. If you do create an e-book with information about your chosen niche, you should convert it to PDF.  You can convert a word document to a pdf using one of the many free PDF converters available.

Having written or sourced your product, you now need to work on a sales page that will convert website visitors into customers. The hosting and website can easily be taken care of in the beginning by creating a blog on blogger.com.  The sites are easy to manage and you can set it up in minutes, plus it’s free so you can spend your funds elsewhere or save your money for future projects.

To take payments you can use a Buy Now button from Paypal. The Buy Now buttons are quite simple to set up on your page. IF and when you begin to make sales of your product, Paypal will charge a small processing fee on a business account.  You now have your own internet business. It’s not that hard, really.

So, just to recap, in order to have affordable online success you can use free keyword tools to help you discover a niche that you will be successful in, you can set up a blog on blogger thus eliminating hosting and domain costs in the beginning and you can create or find a product to sell. The only problem is that you still haven’t spent your budget of $100. What to do eh? that’s what I call affordable online success.

You could of course spend some of your budget on low cost advertising to help get visitors to your site, but there are many ways to do that for free as well. I’ll discuss how to get free traffic to your site in a future post. Watch for it!

Article writing instructions for using plr articles

by Tricia

Finding a constant supply of articles to put on your blog or in article directories can be very difficult after your early enthusiasm begins to wane. Many people try to find PLR articles packages or free niche articles and then rewrite them so that they appear different from the originals. If you happen to use PLR articles, remember that you cannot use them as they are because they will already exist on the internet in their current form. One skill to grasp early on in your writing career is that of quickly rewriting PLR articles (if you choose to use them, that is).

Using free Niche articles

If you are really efficient you can get paid to write articles on the web but you have to pretty much rewrite the PLR material. If I am looking to make money with my articles or use articles to promote my sites I usually write them myself as originals rather then rewriting PLR content. You can put rewritten PLR articles on your own websites as long as you have changed at least 50% of the content. If your aim is to get paid for writing articles I wouldn’t use PLR material. I would focus on completely new articles that you’ve written yourself.

How to use and rewrite plr articles

Article writing instructions are few and far between so here are a few tips on article writing when you want to rewrite PLR articles.

Make sure the article actually makes sense as it stands. If the initial PLR content is of poor quality you might as well throw it out as it will not help you.

Rewrite the first and last paragraphs completely. You should be sure to include relevant keywords that pertain to the article.  The remaining paragraphs of the article can either be rewritten or you can change just some of the sentences, phrases or words in each paragraph.

The last of my article writing instructions is to make sure your article leads the reader to take the action you need. If you are looking for a click on a link make sure it stays relevant!

BTW one place to get quality PLR content is PLRpro. Not only can you get great niche content articles there, but you can also get free inhouse software to make blogging and website creation even easier.

Which Affiliate Networks To Look Out For When Promoting

by Tricia

There are many horror stories about affiliate programs and networks. I’m sure you’ve probably heard a few horror stories and might be leery of joining some affiliate programs. For the most part, the stories that you might have heard are likely related to illegal programs or pyramid schemes.

Basically, this kind of market does not have real, worthy product. What you really want to do is find the best affiliate programs to promote and or join one of the Top Affiliate Training Program so that you can learn how to succeed at affiliate marketing.

You do not want to be associated with schemes or scammy programs. It is obvious you want to be with a program that offers high quality product that you would be willing to readily endorse.  There are decent, quality affiliate programs out there, you just have to do a little work to find ones that pay well and that work with your site or your interests/ passions.

Why participate in an affiliate program?

Affiliate programs that pay well can eventually allow you to work part-time. Affiliate programs give you the opportunity to build a generous residual income, and of course, it makes you an owner of a small business. Affiliate programs have already created lots of millionaires. They are the living testimony of how hard work; continuous prospecting, motivating and training others pay off. Of course, joining a Top Affiliate Training Program might help you attain your goal of only working part-time or perhaps of quitting your day job entirely.

How do you choose a good affiliate program to promote? Here are some tips you may want to look over before choosing one:

1. A program that you like and have interest in. One of the best ways of knowing if that is the kind of program you wish to promote is if you are interested in purchasing the product yourself. If that is the case, chances are, there are many others who are also interested in the same program and products.

2. Look for a program that is of high quality. For instance, look for one that is associated with many experts in that particular industry. This way, you are assured that of the standard of the program you are considering joining.

3. Join in the ones that offer real and viable products. How do you know this? Do some initial research. If possible, track down some of the members and customers to give you testimonial on the credibility of the program. Do Google searches to read success stories or complaints about the products or the company that sells it.

4. Check to see that the program that is catering to a growing target market. This will ensure that there will be continuous demands for your referrals. Make inquiries.  You need to find a top affiliate training program.  There are forums and discussions you can participate in to get reliable feedback.

5. A program with a compensation plan that pays out a residual income and a payout of 30% or more would be a great choice. There are some programs offering this kind of compensation. Look closely for one. Do not waste your time with programs that do not reward substantially for your efforts.

6. Be aware of the minimum quotas that you must fulfill or sales target that is too hard to achieve. Some affiliate programs imposes prerequisites before you get your commissions. Just be sure that you are capable of attaining these requirements.

7. Select one that has plenty of tools and resources that can help you grow the business in the shortest possible time. Not all affiliate programs have these capacities. Make use you decide on one with lots of helpful tools that you can use.

8. Check out if the program has a stats system that will allow you to check your networks and compensation.

9. Find a program that offers strong incentives. Affiliate programs that provide continuous help and upgrades for its products have the tendency to retain its members.

10. Be aware of the things that members are not happy about in a program.

Have a thorough and intensive knowledge about the affiliate program and or network that you will be promoting.

Being aware of an affiliate programs in and outs is always a good thing.

Remember, if you really want to get into affiliate marketing and perhaps eventually quit your day job you might want to look into a Top Affiliate Training Program to hone your skills in affiliate marketing.
