Leading Dedicated Hosting Companies

by Tricia

Businesses can really strive if you integrate the proper services into them, and more than anything this includes domain hosting. If you need dedicated hosting, there are a few dedicated hosting companies in particular that you are going to want to take into serious consideration.

iWeb

By far, one of the top dedicated hosting companies you have at your disposal today is iWeb. They are a trusted and reliable company, one that has been around for nearly a decade now and so you know that you can put your business in their hands and expect it to strive. They offer fantastic package plans with all the hosting features that you need, and for a price that you can afford.

Mendax

Another dedicated hosting company you could use is Mendax. If you are looking for a hosting company with a twist, need to host your new or existing business online, and are looking at the supposedly inexpensive co-located server, dedicated server or virtual server deals labeled so low that you can’t refuse, this will be the right company for you.

Their new free server hosting concept was introduced to battle these issues for you, and a few of the advantages of this company includes no cash up front required, single low monthly payment just as conventional hosting companies, no credit verification required, no commitments, and the server belongs to you after just a year.

eServes

This is another dedicated hosting company well worth considering. They always encourage their clients to send them feedback on how they feel about their company and they believe that their customers act as a veritable touchstone of their service.

They are a reliable hosting provider that can help you meet your online business challenges, and for added safety and reliability the center is smartly engineered and outfitted with state of the art security measures including highly secure intrusion and access control via surveillance, cameras and card readers.

From eServes you can expect an exclusive focus on web hosting solutions for small and medium businesses, great value through comprehensive solutions that are flexible and affordable, scalable solutions that can grow with your business, one-to-one customer relationships, simple purchasing and implementation processes for easy setups and quick, painless switching, and much more.

They are a leader in today’s fast paced world and should definitely be one of the top contenders if you are looking for a dedicated hosting service that you can hire for your business purposes.

How Do I Escape From the Google Sandbox?

by Tricia

The most frequently asked question about search engine optimization is What is the Google Sandbox Theory and how do I escape it? Let’s take a quick glance at the details of Google Sandbox Theory and its related issues.

What is the Google Sandbox Theory?

Web designer found that the new websites optimized and having number of inbound links were not ranking well for the selected keywords. It was observed that after being listed in the SERPS for two weeks, pages were either dropped from index or ranked low for the desired keywords.

Websites that were once ranked high in the SERPS positions that went down tremendously in rank allowing lower ranking sites to have priority position on the keywords provided evidence to Search Engine Marketing experts, which helped them to understand what this Sandbox effect was.

Possible explanations for the Google Sandbox effect

The biggest factor to the Google Sandbox effect is Time Delay. This has to do with the age of the site and the effects that were made after the certain period. This is also believed to be an unjust penalty placed on websites.

The job of a search engine is to provide the most useful information to its users. Search engine optimization deals with puzzling algorithms that relate the appropriate content for different search terms.

How to find out if your website is ‘Sandboxed’?

When your website does not appear in any of the SERPS for the desired keywords or if the results are not satisfactory though there are inbound links and proper on-page optimization then the website is definitely Sandboxed.

Search engines will provide most relevant information to their users. SEO develops complex algorithms to infer relevancy of content for various search terms.

The Sandbox restricts the new websites; the effect reduces on the basis of aging of the websites but on the link aging. According to the ‘Allegra’ update websites that were continually being optimized when they were in the Sandbox began to rank quite high for desired keywords when the Sandbox effect ended.

SEO strategies to minimize your website’s ‘Sandboxed’ time:

  • Start promoting the website the moment it is created.
  • Follow low-intensity and long-term link building plan.
  • Avoid black-hat techniques.

How to Clean Your PC Registry

by Tricia

It is generally agreed that with the more recent Microsoft operating systems like XP and Vista, it is no longer necessary to run a registry cleaner.  Because these operating systems are based on Windows NT instead of the registry, invalid or broken registry keys should not slow your PC down.

Despite the fact that you have an XP or Vista operating system, you could still have bad registry keys that are messing up your PC performance, particularly if you recently removed adware, spyware or other malware from your computer.

If your favorite software programs take a long time to load or are not running correctly, you might need to check out the registry.

A program called ‘regedit’ that you can access from the ‘start/run’ command is available on MIcrosoft’s operating systems.  When you run the regedit program, you will be presented with the contents of your registry folder.  Without having to rely on third party software, the regedit program will enable you to identify any bad keys in your registry and remove them directly.

The average PC user does not understand the meanings of the registry keys.  There are some registry cleaner programs available for no cost or for a small fee that will take the mystery out of the registry file by identifying any bad keys.  Depending on the program, the registry cleaner software will either delete the bad keys automatically or let you choose which invalid registry keys should be deleted.

Be careful about downloading free registry cleaners or anti-virus programs.  Some of these free downloads include adware or other forms of malicious code that might cause trouble for you down the road.  If you cannot spare a few bucks and need a free registry cleaner, be sure to download your software from a trusted service like cNet that verifies that the freeware is free of spyware, adware, and trojans.

If your software programs are not running efficiently, visit the NotGuru blog’s computer tips section, where you will find a step-by-step tutorial on how to clean your registry.  This tutorial includes screen shots for easy reference, and also recommends trusted registry cleaner software.
