Mylot – a way to make money?

by Tricia

I was toying with MyLot for a while as a way to make a little bit of extra money here and there.

Basically, Mylot is a community of individuals from around the world who share information and help one another with questions that they might have. Post a question on the site, or answer one with a worthy answer and you’ll be rewarded monetarily. The more you participate on the site the more money you’ll eventually make.

Site members reading the various questions and answers can rate your answer, as can the person who asked the question in the first place. I believe that securing best answer will give you a slightly better payout.

Mylot doesn’t seem like a way to make money quickly. To earn a good sum of money I believe that you’d have to both answer and compose at least 100 questions each day if not more. While it’s true that you don’t have to provide in depth questions or answers, the better your answers are the more money you’ll probably make down the road. Remember Mylot community members rate one another and so does the person who originally posed a question. You want to strive for best answer, and try to write interesting questions that a number of people will participate in answering.

If you enjoy talking with others online this might be a good place for you to visit.

Time to begin investing in Forex Trading

by Tricia

Here we are, all busily working at our jobs to make enough money to support our family and lifestyle. Some of you are like me and you make some of your money through online ventures as well.

What are you doing with your money? Surely you must have some extra that you are putting aside for retirement or savings? Have you ever thought of putting some of that money into forex trading, futures and other investments?

Like many of you who are reading this post, I haven’t taken the time nor had much extra money to sock away for a rainy day. Unfortunately, I’ve come to realize that that’s been pretty stupid of me not to do so. Even putting away as little as twenty dollars a month over all my past working years would have netted me a fairly nice nest egg by now. Especially if it gained interested, or if I’d used some of that saved money to invest in futures or forex trading since I would likely have received a positive ROI and made money on my investments.

I’m discussing Forex trading because, after visiting the Global Futures Exchange and Trading Co website I’m seriously considering opening a Forex Trading account. I can get started for as little as $250, and the account is commission free – which means that the money the account earns me is mine. There are also no exchange fees, flexible contract size and flexible leverage. Using all of the tools provided by Global Futures exchange I should be able to do well with my investments. I’ll also have 24/7 live customer support if I ever need assistance and I’m sure I will in the beginning.

Naturally, as with all investments there is risk of loss trading Futures, options and forex. Although I think that if you consider the advice that their customer support agents give you and read through all of the resources on the Global Futures Exchange site that you’ll be able to minimize that risk. Please visit the Global Futures Exchange website to learn more about their Forex Trading accounts and other investment accounts.

Making Money with affiliate programs

by Tricia

If you are looking for good ways to monetize your website or blog you might try the following affiliate programs:

I’ve been using Amazon since 1998 or so. I have Amazon banners and buttons on a few of my blogs but the majority of sales that I make through Amazon are on my main website. My earnings have slowed in the last few years, but I’d say that I’ve probably sold about half a million dollars worth of merchandise for Amazon in the time I’ve been working with them and I’ve made several thousand dollars as a result of those sales. Amazon has worked fairly well for me.

Chitika on the other hand is something that I only started to try on my blogs about eight months or so ago. Over all it has not been all that successful for me. Perhaps if I put it on my large and busy website I’d do better. Certainly Chitika works well for many web site owners. In fact I’ve heard many state that it brings in as much or more as Amazon or Google Adsense for them. It does not for me.

As far as affiliate programs go Google Adsense is fast becoming my best money earner. Now, compared to A list bloggers I’m not making thousands each month or anything, but I am making enough that I get paid by them each month. I can’t say how much I’ve made because that is against Google Adsense’s terms of agreement.

I use Google Adsense on all of my websites and blogs. Perhaps that is one reason why I earn the most from them as affiliate programs go.

I’ve found that blending the ads into the site, and not over using Adsense works best. Glaring ads turn people off. For some, the amount of Google ads that I have on this site might be too much, but there are many sites out there with huge ads in their posts, that to me, just seems to ruin the reading experience. My suggestion is to not have ads obstruct the flow of your post or article.

Give these affiliate programs a try for a month or longer. More than likely one will work better for you than the rest.
