Increase Your Rankings With One-Way Links

by Tricia

If you want to make a living online from blogs, SEO is perhaps the most important tool for your success. With correct SEO, you can literally get thousands of free visitors from Google, and other search engines like Yahoo and MSN.

Search engine optimization follows a few basic rules that hardly change over time. You need good content, your pages need to be properly optimized, and most importantly you need lots of inbound links to your site. Although there are tons of other things that the SEO “gurus” talk about, honestly speaking these are not as critical as the three main things I just mentioned above.

Perhaps the most critical element of Search Engine Optimization is getting unique incoming links to your blog. The more the better of course, but the quality of these incoming links also matter. Google interprets a link to your site as a vote of confidence by another site.

Although you can try to build incoming links the traditional way by writing high quality content and leaving comments on other blogs, there are also several blogging software that can help you out. Such revolutionary blogging software are unknown to almost everyone.

For example, tools like 1Way Links and Article Marketing Automation allow you to submit unique versions of the same article to an entire network of blogs. With very little effort, you can easily get thousands of one-way links from related blogs, and since each blog is posting an article that is at least 30% unique, Google will recognize all of them.

Article marketing the old way just generates duplicate content which search engines have learned to ignore, so if you want to succeed today you should try using tools like Jet Submitter Pro which can spawn more than 300 unique variations of the same article using a “content spinning” method.

Of course, you need to use caution when using such tools. Please do not generate too many links too fast. Let your links build naturally and slowly, and Google will love you for it.

How to Do your own On Page SEO

by Tricia

An important element of Search Engine Optimization is on page optimization. On page optimization is meant that when aspects on a webpage are setup ideally to be found easily by search engines and for desired keywords.

On page optimization is pretty easy and must be a target not only for the main web page but also for every single content page within the website after web designer finish the work.

Here we have listed some On Page SEO web design optimization techniques:

Add Keyword in Title: Include ONLY our main keywords. The least amount of words you can place in the title, the more weight Google will give to each of the keywords and the higher you will rank.

Place Keywords in header tags: Your header tag should be placed towards the top of the webpage. However, the title is that gives you an idea to the content on the page.

Place Keywords in header tags: Your h2 header is your sub heading of your webpage. Your second most important keywords should be listed here. This should be placed in the top half of your page.

Keyword Density: This is the number of times a keyword should appear on a page when compared to the number of words on a page. Keywords should be free flowing and be natural within the page.

Bold and Italicize Text: Search engines give more emphasis to words picked up that are in bold or italicized. This means it’s ok to put more emphasis on keywords throughout the site. It can help you out.

Include Proper Image Tags : image tags include descriptions of images to be picked up by search engines. You should include the keyword in this tag but do not overdue it.

Anchor Text: Anchor text is the visible text within a hyperlink that you can click on that takes you to somewhere else.

Place Keywords in URL: The words you place in your URL are picked up by search engines. When creating a URL it is a good idea to include keywords.

Link structure: If the navigation menu of a website is structured then the visitors will navigate the website with just few clicks. It is necessary for the consumer. This also helps the search spiders to get several links to follow.

However I have to point out that on page SEO is not as affective as off page SEO. You can read my another articles “How to Do Off Page SEO” if you are really serious about your website optimization.

Basics of Blogging

by Tricia

Do you have lots of ideas that you would like to share to other people? Do you have comments about certain issues that you want to share to others? Do you have new information that you want others to learn? Do you love to write articles that you want many people to read? If your answer to one or all of these is yes then blogging is for you.

What is blogging?

Generally, blogging is described as a way of writing about something that you want other people to read over the internet. It’s one way of expressing your thoughts and feelings for other people to know.

But blogging can take on a lot of meaning depending on who is doing it.

What is blogging for many young people?

For most teenagers and the young, it is one way to socialize in the net. It is their venue to connect with the people their age, with the people who share the same interests. One example is that there are social networking sites that allow their members to write bogs. To keep your friends on coming back, just keep writing interesting blogs that will catch their attention.

What is blogging for people interested in academics and studying?

For professors, scholars and students, it is a way for them to share and brainstorm new ideas about topics like the newest development in the search for the cure for acquired immunodeficiency syndrome or for the latest techniques in in the field of mechanical science or robotics. By writing blogs, they can present their researches for possible comments and suggestions. They can also reach people who are otherwise uninterested in academic stuff and would rather surf the internet than read theses and dissertations.

What is blogging for entrepreneurs?

Blogging is a way for them to get more web traffic and advertise their products. Some entrepreneurs create their own blogs where they can post promotional gimmicks, testimonials and reviews. Those into newbie marketing buy ad spaces in other blogs to reach possible customers. There are some who sp0nsor blogs for promotion.

There are others who consider blogging as their main source of income. These are the people whom entrepreneurs go to for promotion of their products if they cannot or do not want to create their own blogs. Businesses look for blogs with niche topics that are directly related or in some way associated with their products. It’s one rule of SEO For example, people selling cellular phones or computers look for blogs that talk about different gadgets. They get to be exposed to their target market.

Some bloggers write blogs to create niche blogs so they can attract advertisers. They can just simply write about a certain topic and offer ad spaces for products related to what they write. There are some who write something and then mention a product name which is linked to that product’s own website. They can also offer to write good reviews for certain products and get paid for doing it.

Check your intentions if you are planning to have your own blog. Ask yourself why you want to have a blog and then tailor fit your blog according to your intentions. You have the option of having several blogs to answer your different needs. There is no rule that says that you have to be confined in just one area only. There are a lot of possibilities that go along with blogging. You just have to explore blogging and benefit from it.
